3 Ipoh Migrants & 1 Ipoh Mali
"Ipoh Mali..." shouted repeatedly by my four and a half years old daughter that kept us laughing after me and my hubby told her that she would have a new school again in Ipoh after changing two kindergartens in six months in Kuala Lumpur. This was happened in June year 2009 when I was offered a job based in Ipoh and this was the second attempt we had tried to move out from the busy life of Kuala Lumpur that we finally succeeded 5 years later.
From Klang Valley to Kinta Valley, I feel like being rejuvenated. Moving in Ipoh Tambun which is surrounded with limestone hills has made me realise how true is the calmness in the Land of Grace. All of a sudden, something cross my mind "...Ipoh must change and how these 3 Ipoh Migrants can contribute to the change...", it is like a mission impossible and the calmness of mind with such a burning heart waking me up; In mid 2011, I had delivered a newborn baby... the official "Ipoh Mali" has arrived to this world, making a mission accomplished feel like! 3plus1!
However, creating the awareness of general public on the super fast development of Kinta Valley has become my main mission now after realising the fast development may have given negative impacts to such a beautiful and peaceful haven.
Where there is a will, there is a way; I will start looking at the possibility of keeping Ipoh Tambun its scenic and pleasant environment from the negative impact brought over by the fast development through my write-ups... Happy reading my Ipoh Tambun blog.
